Sidney Franklin is a SAG-AFTRA actor, producer, and immersive entertainment creator whose work spans the full spectrum of performance, from network television and streaming to the intimate stage and the unexpected magic of living in a crowd.

His love of performing began in childhood and never found a ceiling. Over more than fifteen years of professional work, Sidney built a career defined by range, commitment, and a genuine belief that the most powerful thing any performer can offer is full, unguarded presence in the room.

On screen, Sidney worked across network television and streaming, with credits on FX, MTV, ABC, CBS, Lifetime, Amazon Video, Peacock, and Cartoon Network. His lead role in Lifetime's Stalked at 17 demonstrated a dramatic range continuing to define his film and television work. He was nominated for a NATAS Pacific Southwest Emmy for Best Supporting Actor, and his short film The Answer was selected for the Cannes Film Festival. Sidney lent his voice and whole self through performance capture for PlayStation video games, bringing characters to life from the inside out.

In theater, Sidney performed at some of the most respected venues in Southern California, including La Jolla Playhouse, Cygnet Theatre, and The Old Globe's Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre. Drawing on his training in dance and his voice as a baritenor, he moves fluidly across musical theater, drama, and new works with equal parts classical discipline and fearless openness.

Perhaps uniquely, Sidney spent over a decade at the forefront of immersive and experiential entertainment. His work with Feverup and live activations for Amazon, Peacock, Cartoon Network, and La Jolla Playhouse, alongside more than ten years performing scripted, improvised, and immersive entertainment across multiple theme parks, places him among a rare group of performers who can hold a crowd not with a stage but with pure presence and invention.

A graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, Sidney brings the principles of long-form improvisation to every project, listening deeply, committing fully, and finding the truth in whatever the moment offers. His extra skills include a first-degree black belt in martial arts, a trained stage combat performer, an accomplished tap and ballroom dancer, a guitarist and banjo player, a practicing magician and mentalist, and someone who keeps a dedicated ongoing practice of American Sign Language.
